Rule #1: Anyone Can Become "Oh My God!" Flexible

Still a little confused? Ok, let's take a step back.
Stretching works like this: you pull on a set of muscles and connective tissues through stretching exercises or yoga poses, and when you reach your maximum stretching flexibility, your myotatic reflex (that's your stretching reflex) kicks in and your muscles contract to protect themselves...
