Who and what is The Hot Yoga Doctor - and more importantly - how can she help YOU?
Gabrielle Raiz is the Hot Yoga Doctor’s real name—and the moniker “Doctor” comes from her original career as a practicing Dentist and then applying her deep medical knowledge to her Hot Yoga teaching practice.
(Did you know that Dentists must learn a detailed anatomy of the head? One of the most complex structures in the body!)
From there, people began to ask her very technical questions about the poses, including other teachers—and someone (probably her husband) started calling her Dr. Yogini—and it stuck!
