The other day I was interviewed by my friend and consummate yogi, Lucas Rockwood.
It turned into a fascinating 49 minute recording packed with loads of info - Lucas DOES ask some excellent thought provoking and interesting questions!
We discussed why people get injured in hot yoga (or Bikram yoga) or any yoga style and what you can do to prevent injuries.
As you know I am really passionate about precision alignment - I believe it is the fast-track to extracting even more benefits from your yoga and your life.
Listen out for some pointers on how to improve your balance ... There’s so much in there you’ll definitely want to listen a couple of times and take some notes!
As always, I welcome your comments below.
Namaste,
Gabrielle

Hello. My daughter sent me your website. I have been practicing bykram for the past 10 years and I do feel like a beginer still. I love to learn correct postures.

Gabrielle, this was an excellent interview - all of it was interesting, but the part on balance was particularly helpful for me - especially regarding hyperextended knees & strengthening hamstrings. Having experienced this, I would add strengthening ankles was also crucial for me to hold the postures. Thanks!

I do not know how to post a question, so here goes. Hope it works! I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism… what can I do to help?
