after a 90 minute class I want sugary junk food.
Usually something like devil dogs & big glass of cold milk.

What’s up with that do you think?
Anyone else experience something similar?

Hmmm… I definitely get the cold milk craving.  Normally, after a good, sweaty class, anything cold is incredibly appealing, whether it’s fruit or juice or milk or veggies.

But, I am surprised that it’s sugar you’re craving and not salt. I’ll be interesting to hear what Gabrielle has to say on this one.

In general though, if I leave a class craving anything, I first make sure I drink a full water bottle’s worth of liquids to help rehydrate. I figure most cravings are rooted in dehydration, so the sooner I replenish my fluids, the better.

I had the same problem with sugar cravings after my hot yoga session. I found that if I kept drinking lots water after class the cravings got less and less. My twin sister was the same as well and she finds just 1 glass of calcium fortified orange juice did the trick for her.  It takes will power but it does get easier.  Best of luck!! grin
