Who and what is The Hot Yoga Doctor - and more importantly - how can she help YOU?

Gabrielle Raiz (sometimes known by her married name Gabrielle Scanlon) is the Hot Yoga Doctor's real name -- and the moniker "Doctor" comes from her original career as a practicing Dentist and then applying her deep medical knowledge to her Hot Yoga teaching practice.

Gabrielle was certified as a Bikram Yoga teacher by Bikram Choudury in 2001.

As a yoga student, teacher and studio owner, Gabrielle discovered that she had a unique ability to solve both fundamental and very technical questions about the hot yoga poses, including questions from other teachers. Someone (probably her husband) started calling her Dr. Yogini -- and it stuck!
