    Lovely Gabrielle,
There are no enough words to thank you! You are such an amazing support for all of us. YOU are the best, thank you for your hard work!
Regarding Eagle pose, I am concerned because my left feet collapses and the arch dissapears. I try to keep my chest over my hips, parallel to the front wall, and I don’t go deeper if I don’t feel that the weight is equally distributed in the whole surface of the sole of my feet, keeping the arch of my feet… That means that I cannot sit more than a couple of centimetres. It is so frustrating, nothing seems to work!
Could you please give me any advice? Has anybody else had this problem? And, the most important question: does my writing make any sense?! I’m so sorry about my horrible English… thanks to Gabrielle and all of you guys for your patience and help!
    Namaste

    Hi Valeria

Nice to ‘see’ you again! Humble thanks. By the way your English is very good.

It could be that your left foot is less strong than your right. Can you tell me what happens when you go up onto your toes in say, Awkward part 2? Does one ankle or foot wobble more, or does one feel more stable than the other?

    Hi Gabrielle,
Thank you so much for your reply! It is so exciting to hear from you 😀
Regarding your question: “Eagle pose” is the only moment in the class when I feel a difference between both feet. By the way, I’ve just realized that “feet” is a plural… I’m sorry about that! This problem occurs only in this pose, and only with my left foot.
Thanks again for your help and kind words!

    Hi Valeria

I am just wondering if you can answer the question about your ankle in other poses, specifically when you raise up onto your toes. I want to know if your left ankle feels more wobbly in that position. Or if there is any other time, in or out of the studio where you notice a difference between the feet in any way.

In all likelihood there is a clue that we’re missing.

    Hi Gabrielle,

Regarding my left ankle, I don’t feel it more wobbly in other poses, neither in nor out of the studio. It’s just in eagle pose 🙁
Thank you for your help and kindness!

    Hi Valeria

I think you could benefit from some development of the muscles in that foot and ankle. Please go and look at the video Great Posture From The Ground Up. I would like you to pay particular attention to the bit about standing on the toes and how to practise that when you’re sitting or standing at a bench or table, and not just when you’re at yoga.
