    Hi

    I am new to Bikram… only 3 classes so far. This pose is causing me to get frustrated because I cannot touch my hands together! I can barely reach at all. I am by no means fat, but carry a couple more kilos than I would like and feel like my size is stopping me from getting into a number of the poses.

    Hope someone can help!

    Well, I am fat, and find that many of the poses are difficult because my belly or boobs are in the way. I just do the best I can. I can’t touch my exactly forehead to my exactly knee because my exactly boob is in the way!

    Also, I have been told that the rabbit pose can be difficult in particular for women because we have a different centre of gravity. I look forward to comments from more experienced yogis!

    I want to say that I LOVE to see people and woman who come in and try this very challenging, and scary thing. GOOD FOR YOU!!
    First I want to assure you that even though you may not be in a full posture you are getting 100% of the benefits and inch by inch will move forward in your practice. talk to you teacher to make sure you are trying the right way and keep going and keep trying you WILL get there. Bikram says 1% of the pose 100% correct is still 100% of the benefits. let me know how you do and feel free to ask me anything!!! GOOD LUCK

    I know this post it old. But I will still reply.

    I am fat too. Eagle pose there is no way I could get my arms together past my breasts. My instructors say it’s okay to grab my shoulders. As far as my legs, I just do what I can. I get my leg over and squeeze my thighs. My big thing is learning the balance and focus. The rest will come
