No matter how hydrated I seem to be, as I am moving into Fixed Firm I get the nastiest pounding in my head that leaves me immobile for a moment or two.
One of my instructors thought it might be a lack of electrolytes but that doesn’t explain why it ONLY happens during this specific transition.
Has anyone else had a similar issue or have any thoughts on how to prevent this going forward?
Hi Alyson
Can you please tell me how long you have been practising and with what frequency?
It could give me an idea (or not!)

Gabrielle 🙂
Hi Gabrielle,
I’ve been practicing Bikram twice a week for the past 6 weeks or so though I have been doing yoga for a number of years now. Any ideas? 🙂
Namaste,
Alyson
Hi Alyson
Has it been happening for the whole time (for 6 weeks)?

actually, it didn’t happen over the first few sessions when I was was less hydrated than I typically am for classes now. I haven’t made any significant lifestyle or diet changes so I’m not really sure what is going on.
