First off – greeting to everyone, newbie here.
I watched – and was very impressed – Gabrielles video on core strength, tummy flattening and noticed the simularity between the second tibetan rite and the exercise shown.
In the T5 exercise, both legs are raised on an inhale at the same time as the head and neck are lifted from a flat position on the floor (no ball involved)
I was always a tad unsure about lifting and rounding the neck but I’ve never hurt myself doing it.
What do members here feel.
TIA
Hi Tia
I am not personally familiar with that Tibetan exercise although I believe that I have done similar things in Pilates. What I do like about the ball exercise is the way that the core is strengthened without involvement of the neck at all (and without involving other muscles in the trunk unnecessary for the exercise).
Thank you, I am glad you like my video!
Namaste
Gabrielle 🙂
