Hi There i am looking for some advice i hope you can help !
I am 33 now and have starting regularly practicing Hot Yoga in the last few months.
I love it! Unfortunately i am noticing an ‘uneasyness’ in my left wrist in the place that i fractured it over 20 years ago and have not had any problems with ever since – which i think it kinda crazy!
Due to this i cannot hold my grip especially in standing head to knee, seated head to knee and in some of the other postures i feel its holding me back from progressing. im worried that if i keep trying with the grip something is going to snap !
i am grateful for any advice you can give me !

Hi Nuala,
I am a graduate from Gabrielle’s teacher training. I have a few questions for you regarding your wrist. Have you had any MRI’s to follow up with your wrist to see that everything healed properly? I would like to rule out any serious issues like necrosis of the bone. How do your wrists feel in Pranayama? If the wrist has healed properly would a wrist brace work after Pranayama to help feel more secure in your grip? Does the “uneasyness” ever transition to pain?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
