I came to Bikram yoga 3 years ago, and have been practicing in my home the last 18 months with the iPad download from Hot Yoga Doctor while living in Abu Dhabi--trust me, it can be done! Gabrielle Scanlon has become my go to Yoga Master for advice, tips, and encouragement. Her attitude is kinder than Bikram (no "Kill yourself!) while still stressing the important things--proper form, the marriage of breathing and motion, adn self awareness. I am in the best mental and physical shape of my life. Yoga has taught me not only discipline, but mindfulness, patience, and the importance of doing one's best TODAY--whatever today's "best" is!
