I am doing 30 days challenge now, 22 days today. And I have been coughing for a while, take some medicine, but not getting better. Sometimes feel really realy tired, and weak, muscle is very tight, neck is tight. some classes are very hard. Not sure if tireness will make coughing worse and last long time. If I stop practising now, the cough will be gone?

    Hi Jessica

Did your cough go? Your 30 days is almost over… How do you feel?

To be quite frank, challenge or no challenge if you’re sick then you need to do what’s right for your body (not to satisfy the artificial situation that you have committed to). A 30 day challenge still should work in a rest day once a week but as I understand it, most people don’t follow this basic rule. It is possible that your body needs rest to recover? Any training regime has rest days.

    What is your gut feeling?

    Namaste

done with 30 days challenge. coughing is slightly better after I rest a bit. To get one day rest in a week means you should take double class in another day in the week for 30 days. My 30 days challenge is a 50% high and 50% down feeling practise. The first week was extremely good and I gave 100% during the class. 2nd week I felt even better than 1st week, my muscle was strong and posture was quite stable. Then 3rd my body was tired. From end of 3rd week, I felt no strength to continue and some postures I could only do 50%-60% percent, because I was scared to hurt my body, specially knee down and back bend. Now I didn’t practise for last 3 days, coughing is better, but I miss yoga a bit 🙂
