Do you know specific details to make a hot room?

Need to know specific details to make a hot room?, Size of the room?, type of the floor?, need windows?, and of course what kind of equipment should be install?, type,size, and trade?

Can you help me with this?.
So I can find out in my country, about equipment and prices.
And find a nice place to settle a hot yoga class. 🙂

Hi Maria

You may want to give more information about how many people you want to have in the room. The more information you give the better. Where are you? Which country will give more information about the weather conditions. Are you a teacher already? What style are you teaching?

Sometimes you are constrained by the space that you find. There really isn’t quite enough to go by at the moment.

In the Traveling and Practicing At Home section on this forum, there is a lot of information about heaters and setting up a space.

Do I need a humidifier in my room or just space heater? It is a small room 12×18 maybe… the wall has a wall heater and the space heater blows the heat? I live in a low humidity area of the country. Does this matter?

Hi Rachael

I would definitely recommend a powerful humidifier. The moisture will boost your perception of the heat. In other words you will have to heat less high to get that same hot and sweaty feel that we’re after!

It will most likely save you money and energy, you will have to pre-heat the room for less time.

Thanks for the info. Do you think a 8 gallon humidifier is enough for that size room and do you have any idea how long before the class I should run it. I live in the high desert, so humidity levels are low.

My humidifier can raise the temp 2-3 degrees…and that makes all the difference.
