Of course it’s not recommended to go into the yoga room wearing mascara, but sometimes it happens and by the floor series things are not looking that good around the eyes, if ya know what I mean!

Well, my daughter (who also does Bikram) recommended it – Double Extend Beauty Tubes by L’Oreal. It’s not the black, smeary stuff, it’s like tiny pieces of nylon that magically attach to your eyelashes. Now, a piece of it may end up under your eye, but you easily lift it off and there’s no smearing. It’s wonderful! It goes on easily and stays on, mostly, through a hot yoga class. As long as you don’t touch your eyes, you should be fine. Then it comes off later in the shower with hot water splashed on your face. I take mine off at home with a washcloth, but either way, it’s easy to get off, with little mess and no eye make-up remover required.

I think this nylon-type of mascara is the latest trend, as I’ve seen other brands advertised.

Another interesting thing I’ve noticed around my yoga studio lately, oddly, is that lots of women are wearing thick, false eyelashes in yoga! I can’t imagine why, but they are. I’m sure I’d spend the whole class wondering if they’d fall off and end up on my cheek as happened to Oprah one day on tv! ha ha.

I discovered the Beauty Tubes too. That mascara is perfect for Bikram. I would think that wearing false eyelashes during class would be about as comfortable as wearing a sweater. Yuck!

Thanks for the tip! I have come out of many classes looking like a raccoon.

Now, I’m only referring to the top lashes. I’ve never worn it on the bottom lashes.
