I wanted to say that I thought $200 for the Master Class book was a little dear even with the recent free shipping special and videos and pose mats. Even after I received the book and read it, it seemed pricey. However, I was surprised to receive a tutorial video in the mail. Seventy minutes for just one pose and it looks like I’m to receive one of those per month. Suddenly, $199 doesn’t look as unreasonable as I originally thought. Thank you so much for this!

Hi Eagerbeaver – thanks for the feedback!

According to my records, you’ve had the MasterClass package for one week now.

Reading it is one thing … but the application of the correct techniques and correction of mistakes lasts a long time!

For example, the Manual is used as the required reading for our Teacher Training, and even though all participants have “read” the Manual prior to attending, you’d be surprised how many things even they miss … so I’m confident you’ll easily get your value out of it as you apply the material.

In that respect we recommend you focus on a specific pose at a time ie Chapter by Chapter (in any order you wish!).

That Pose Tutorial you received was a special “limited time bonus offer” that ended July 2 – and they ship separately (you should have received an email about this at the time of purchase, please check junk mail!).

The DVD normally sells for $29.95 (+ shipping), so that adds more value for sure … I’m sorry to say you won’t be receiving one per month though, I’m not sure where you got that idea haha!!

There are plenty of people who say the opposite to you by the way (the package is cheap at the price!) – you can read reviews submitted by others here:

    https://www.hotyogadoctor.com/index.php/store/1/MOST-POPULAR!-Hot-Yoga-MasterClass–Full-Package/#customers-review

So stick with it and you’ll unlock way more value as you go!

Yes, I know I will find the book to be a valuable resource. Right now I’m working on locking my knees and my breath, not any particular pose. Once I get those down I figure I can start on a pose. I do review it often.

I thought I read the tutorial videos were produced monthly so I assumed they were sent monthly. (LOL) Still, it was a pleasant surprise.

Thanks for responding to my post.

    Thanks Eagerbeaver!

That’s a great plan to be working on the “locked knee” & the breath – that will get you a long way 😉

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here (or email directly – only for Hot Yoga MasterClass owners!).

Re: the tutorial videos – in fact many moons ago, we used to produce them as a monthly download, but due to overwhelming demand for convenience and to pick and choose, we turned them into DVDs. Apologies for any confusion!

    Namaste

    Robert
