    I haven’t tried swiveling my hips. This pose is such a struggle for me that I just try to focus on finishing. I’ll try to swivel my hips around.

    BTW, the exact same thing happens in the Tree pose as well. My body rotates to the left when I’m standing on my right foot.

    Sorry, it took me some to post this response.

    Yes, the right foot (the one I’m standing on) is at 12 o’clock. My hips seem to be parallel to the floor.

    One thing that I noticed today was that if I turn my right foot slightly so that it is at 1 or 2 o’clock then, my body doesn’t seem to rotate, but I have a harder time balancing.

    I don’t think i have any spinal/vertebral misalignment. I’ve been a long time runner and walker and presumably those kind of misalignments should have shown up earlier?

    This only happens with my right foot. When I stand on my left, I don’t rotate.
