The instructors/owner at the studio I practice regularly insists we wear shorts. She wants to check our knees at all times to make sure the muscle is lifted and the leg is locked.
So if I do wear long yoga pants, I roll them up for those postures. I feel wearing the longer pants keeps me “warmer”.

So it appears from my research then, that everything is moving through my system, faster. how interesting!
My day number 18 of the challenge was once again a good class.

from CureZone website regarding “Transit time”

The longer the transit time, the longer the toxic waste matter sits in the bowels, allowing proteins to putrefy, fats to become rancid, and carbohydrates to ferment. The longer the body is exposed to rotting food in the intestines, the greater the risk of developing disease. Even with one bowel movement per day, there are still at least three meals’ worth of waste sitting in the colon at any given time.

hi there, thanks for asking. I am still finding myself achy in the mornings upon waking up and I believe that to me normal.
I think I took something a couple of nights ago, but I am not in pain just achy and all is well once I get back into that yoga room.

I am on day 13, and during that posture just before triangle, I am just very very close to touching my head to the floor. very exciting, I am sure it will change my whole life. ha ha ha, best, namaste

I was a runner for 24 years, ran 7 or 8 marathons in my day. I started Bikram yoga hoping to become more flexible. Within 3 mo., it became clear to me I was getting the same “runner’s high” in Bikram. The effects of cardio.

Never have i run again, and having been doing Bikam for 3 years.

Bikram has guidelines in his book on mini-sessions (for regular practitioners) and recommended postures
I’ve gone this route (doing the recommended postures twice) and it really opened me up.
I really feel it’s important to do postures twice for the deep effect result. Also, though I tried to get the room as warm as possible because I was not in the studio, I wore long yoga pants and and a tight fitting long-sleeved fitness top.

This is from going to Bikram everyday. i am doing 1-class per day. No breaks are allowed except for only 2 double-classes (no more) which can be used if I reallly need to miss a day.

It is not really pain, just acheyness. Middle of my shoulder-blades, upper-arms, and back-of-the-legs.
